This Grade II listed manor house on the outskirts of York is a care Home offering something a little different for the more discerning client.

DWA were appointed to undertake a full internal refurbishment which included the careful sub-division of large rooms and the insertion of en-suites to many rooms.

Listed features such as oak panelling, skirtings, architraves, cornice and fireplaces all had to be retained, protected and sympathetically worked around where they were affected by new works.

As part of the works a three storey rear extension was constructed which included 18 new en-suite bedrooms and a new lift and stair core.
