Coleg Harlech campus is operated under the Coleg Harlech Workers' Educational Association (North Wales), providing liberal arts adult education to enable adults to fulfil their potencial by providing vocational education and training, including providing opportunities for socially and educationally disadvantaged adults.

The College site is also home to theatre Harlech, which is on the side of an escarpment and is in poor repair.

The current halls of residence is a tower block on the coast line of the Snowdonia National Park. The older 1900's buildings are Grade II listed with the courtyards, boundry wall and terrace overlooking the sea also listed.

The Cambria centre has been created to change the identity of the college campus as a centre for community facilities. The halls of residence has been sold to an adjacent site and a new 56 bed residential block proposed.
