I joined DWA Architects in 1997 and have a broad architectural training and background with over 25 years experience.

I have specialist experience within all Retail sectors, Town Centre Master-Planning, Village & Community Master-Planning, Community based projects, Offshore Marinas & Leisure projects, Residential design, Commercial Offices, Hotels, Nature Conservation Visitor Centre projects and Historic Conservation.

I became a Director of DWA Architects during 2001, and I am responsible for overall Project co-ordination and resource management for the design and management processes involved with a team of Architects and Technical Support staff. An excellent designer in my own right, my style has a bold contemporary design flair and strong sculptural theme, which is well recognized within my international award winning interiors.

Recently, I have been involved with the design of a large £45m multi-use Project involving the design of 240 apartment, 170 bedroom 4 star plus hotel, public swimming pool and parking project in York,  North Yorkshire;  various Community Group related Projects, The Community House Project at Selby North Yorkshire; various mixed use developments; penthouse apartments in London; the comprehensive conversion of a Grade II London Diplomatic residence; premier automobile showrooms for Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche and Lotus showroom at Canary Wharf, London;  Land Rover, Volvo, Mercedes Benz, within the London region, and Rolls Royce and Bentley showrooms at Mayfair, London. I am also currently involved with various Residential, Care Homes and Community Projects.

I have a deep interest in increasing awareness within the construction industry of the need to respect, protect, preserve and enhance the environment, principles that have become known collectively as "sustainability" and helping to inform the building design and the development of skills around energy efficient construction.

A Working Group Member / Advisor to the Special Planning Policy Guidance Group, North Yorkshire, and I am a Trustee Member to the Association of Voluntary Services, North Yorkshire.
