My primary role is the interpretation of Clients brief for initial scheme design for discussion with Planning Authorities, through to detailed design for costing/construction.

I also act as a project architect to run jobs on site, attend and chair site meetings. I also carry out Planning Supervisor duties within the office.

I run the office's Ordinance Survey mapping facilities to provide detailed site information to the office staff generally, and ensure that this facility is always available.

The delegation of projects is a responsibility I perform in response to the Team Leaders' requirements and offer assistance and guidance to my colleagues whenever required.

I am a Chartered Architect registered with the RIBA having achieved BA (hons) Dip Arch. I have also attended Planning Supervisor and CDM courses in order to improve my contribution to the overall service offered by the Company.

Since joining DWA I have designed a number of Nursing Homes, which have either been realised on site or in the process of development.

My design philosophy is to fulfil the Clients brief with a product to be proud of, within the designated cost constraints.
